DeepScry is an experimental high-performance Magic: the Gathering engine in Rust — engineered for tree-search AI.

A Rust rules MTG engine built for deterministic simulation, undo-log rewind, and search techniques such as MCTS. Card data is drawn from the open-source Forge project. Runs natively on the server and as WebAssembly in the browser.

On a modern CPU, the engine sustains roughly 4 million game-actions/sec per core — tens of thousands of full turns/sec — on realistic constructed decks.

Play head-to-head over WebSocket, watch heuristic AI battle itself in your browser, or launch a terminal-style TUI — all from the same engine. New here? Read the Guide.

Just pick a display name — no account is created on the server. The (globally unique) username is only reserved while you are logged in and released as soon as you log out or disconnect.

⚠ An ephemeral account cannot save decks to the cloud. Decks you build stay only in this browser (localStorage) and can be lost. Sign in with GitHub or Google for cloud deck saving.
